Whilst still living in Spain Ian teamed up with his long time friend bass player and vocalist Colin Green in 2019 to produce "Gertcha!". A tribute to the music of Chas and Dave.

 

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic this project had only had a couple of airings in public during 2020 but it was very well recieved and acclaimed as a brilliant homage to their music and there were many performances in 2021 and 2022.

 

Gertcha! had a very sucessful mini tour in the south Costa Blanca with a long weekend of dates celebrating Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

 

Since Ian's return to UK Gertcha! is now rebranded as

JUST CHAS! and is available as a solo tribute act with Ian alone or a 2 or 3 piece band, sometimes with Tony Burt, son of Chas and Dave's legendary drummer Mick Burt. This show can be mixed with an extra set of cover songs as required.

 

A recent collaboration with Ians long time friend, Dave Brock, from the popular Chas and Dave Tribute show "Rabbit Rabbit" resulted in the "Duelling Chas's" show. This is the same Chas and Dave Tribute show but with the guys battling it out on 2 pianos. Well worth a look if they are apppearing near you.
